Pokemon Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire gameplay countdown

Pokemon X and Y fans have something really exciting to look forward to this weekend. We can now confirm that Pokemon Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire gameplay is just hours away, as premiere footage will be shown in Japan this Sunday.

We hardly know anything about the new game, other than the fact that it will obviously be remakes of the original Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire games. Game Freak however has already promised a spectacular new world for players to explore so it is still going to be a must-buy for all hardcore Pokemon trainers out there.

Now, we know when you’ll be able to get your very first taste of the game in action. The Pokemon Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire gameplay premiere will take place during the Pokemon Get TV episode in Japan on Sunday at 7:30 JST.

As far as we’re aware, there is no live stream but we will do our best to find the best way for you to view the episode as soon as possible. The game remakes are out this November, so we’re unsure if we will see actual gameplay on 3DS or just some teaser footage containing cutscenes.

Either way, it is going to be exciting to see what the game looks like, compared to the original games. Remember that Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire were released on the GameBoy Advance back in 2002, 2003 so it is going to be interesting to see just how different those graphics look when upgraded on 3DS hardware.

Are you excited about this game after Pokemon X and Y? Give us your expectations below.
