There is going to be another big event on the way for Pokemon Go players, with developers Niantic giving players another chance to pick up the extremely rare Legendary Pokemon Zapdos.
Zapdos is one of the three mythical birds from the Kanto region along with Articuno and Moltres and initially was available in Pokemon Go last Summer.
Now though, you have your chance to claim Zapdos again on July 21 which will officially be dubbed Pokemon Go ‘Zapdos Day’.
The most exciting factor about Zapdos Day is not only do you have the chance to encounter a Shiny Zapdos, but any Zapdos you find will also come with the skill Thundershock which is well worth your effort if you are a competitive player.
You can see the differences between normal Zapdos and Shiny Zapdos in the image above – the differences are barely visible, but Shiny Zapdos does have a different colour scheme if you look closely.
