Pokemon Black and White (DS): First pictures and 3D details

Following on from our report on Friday, which informed you about the announcement of Pokemon Black and White on the Nintendo DS, we have the first screenshots for you to take a look at now, as well as some interesting details about the game.

The screenshots come to us courtesy of Nintendo Everything, who have uploaded some scans from Japanese Magazine CoroCoro for you to take a look at.

As you can see from the third image, battles are now in full 3D, allowing you to see the back of your Pokemon, while environments are also in 3D when travelling around. Overal visuals have improved, while characters will now display speech bubbles next to them when talking.

Furthermore, it looks like you’ll have some sort of vehicle to get around quicker, and you’ll now also be able to shop in the Poke Center.

Let us know what you think about some of these game features. Either way – the game is looking very promising at the moment. Import anyone?

i honestly cant wait but regardless of how great it is nothing will be able to top the originals gotta love the old school versions still play them today

Yea adam i agree with you 100% and if we do the game will be great and im wondering about that new vhicle we can get around with hope its not a new kind of bike or something around those lines…

The battles looks much better there but I don't think they're in full 3D. I don't think you'll be able to move the camera around to see your Pokemon from different angles.
