It works really well too, and now we have a quick heads-up on how to play Facebook Instant Games on iOS and Android for those that want to get started.

The best about Facebook Instant Games is that you don’t need to go through any long app downloads as it’s all done through Facebook’s cloud servers.

Games available include popular titles such as PacMan, Arkanoid, Space Invaders, Galaga and Hex FRVR – with more to be added soon.

To play, simply go to the Facebook search bar on mobile or desktop and search for ‘Instant Games’. You’ll see a list of supported titles such as PacMan and then you can play the game straight on the next page.

Online multiplayer battles are not supported yet, but score recording and leaderboards synced with your friends list are.

Once you have played an game you like, you can then go to the Instant Games sub category shown above and all of the games will be there in one place for easy access in future.

Perhaps best of all, these games do not have ads so it could be a new way for a casual gaming experience when next browsing through Facebook and when you have a bit of time to kill.
