Platinum Air Hockey for Android released

We are seeing some great games being made available for various mobile platforms, as developers bring new or classic remakes to mobile devices. Most people would have played the great game of air hockey at some time in their life, and now this can be done via a smartphone or tablet device. Today we have Platinum Air Hockey for Android users to show you.

Platinum Air Hockey comes in two versions, which are Free and Pro. The application is brought to you by and independent software developer based in Australia called Platinum Apps. The stunning looking game is a take on the popular air hockey game found in arcades and other venues.

The newly released application that is now available on the Android Market uses an advanced artificial intelligence game play, which has been built specifically for Android Honeycomb in mind. The game uses lightning fast responses with multiple themes. The game also features stunning graphics with numerous options available.

It will look really impressive if it is used on a large screen tablet PC such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Users can choose different themes such as Classic Arcade, Basketball, Casino, Prehistoric, and Soccer.

Difficulty settings can be changed and there is a two player wireless option via a Wi-Fi network. The free version has limited features and is also Ad supported. The Platinum Air Hockey Pro version is currently being offered at fifty percent off the price for $1.06/£0.65 for a limited time. This includes additional themes with no ads, and wireless two player gaming.
