PhotoCalendar 1.0 Hits Apple App Store

While many people probably opt for a calendar they can display around their home somewhere, others (like me) just stick to entering special dates on the calendars that are available on their smartphones. However, you might prefer a calendar that has a bit of a personal touch to it.

If that’s the case, then the PhotoCalendar 1.0 app — which is compatible with the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad — may be the ideal app for you. The PhotoCalendar application allows users to add different photos to the calendar, direct from their photo album / gallery.

According to a recent post at, the app even allows you to set your 2011 calendar as your wallpaper. If you wanted to, you could even share your personalized calendar with friends on social networking websites such as Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr.

The app is available to download via the website, and requires Apple iOS 3.0 or later to run. PhotoCalendar 1.0 features a great collection of default backgrounds and calendar themes, which you can actually customize if need be. You can view a demo of the app via
