PGA Championship 2014 leaderboard a click away on TV

With the PGA Championship 2014 set to tee off tomorrow, August 7th until the 10th, there is nothing better than watching live coverage on your TV. We know that there will be other ways in which to watch the event, such as live streaming to your computer, but Samsung believes they offer the best coverage.

We would have debated this in the past, but now the PGA Championship 2014 leaderboard is just a click away on a Samsung TV thanks to a new app. This new Smart TV app will bring a heap more content to your viewing experience while the tournament is played live.

However, you will need a 2013 or 2014 Samsung Smart TV in order to benefit from using the new app. Some of the features include various broadcast modes from CBS and TNT, which allows for users to switch to live video feeds of different areas of the course.

There is also a second-screen feature, meaning you can view up-to-date PGA Championship 2014 leaderboard results, along with highlights of the day.

Users can even interact with the app by casting live votes to certain challenges. This app is not only for the Championship, as it will offer the same features for other upcoming golfing events, such as the Ryder Cup, which begins on September 23rd.

As part of its partnership with PGA, Samsung will have an experiential area, there you will be able to see some of the latest products from the South Korean company, such as a 23-inch Curved UHD TV, NX compact system cameras, the latest Galaxy Tab S devices, but not the Galaxy Note 4, as this is not due to be launched until September the 3rd.
