PES 2014 DLC could make it better than FIFA 14

We have some fantastic news for PES 2014 players now, especially those who have been thinking that the game isn’t on the same level as FIFA 14 at the moment. Some new PES 2014 DLC is now available for the game, a free download which offers over 800 new faces to the game than what was shipped at launch.

Konami are calling it the PES 2014 Data Pack 2 DLC and it should be available to download now the next time you boot up the game. It is a massive update and it’s great to see that it’s available to all players at no extra cost.

Now you’ll be able to play the game with the real faces of players like Real Madrid’s Isco, Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere and Manchester United’s Fabio and Rafael twins. Aside from the massive faces content, it will also add some other new features, such as an 11Vs11 mode and new boots to customize your players with.

Konami has confirmed that the update is now live, but it’s important to note that you’ll first need to install an accompanying patch, and then afterwards install the Data Pack 2. You’ll be able to see an official tease of the new update from Konami below – some of the new faces sure look impressive.

We’ve seen a lot of feedback already from those that have the update. It appears that most of you are very happy with what Konami has produced with the update, even going as far to say that PES 2014 could now be better than FIFA 14 with this update in place.

It has been a long time since we could even talk about a PES game being better than FIFA. Do you honestly think that Konami has got it right with PES 2014, or is FIFA 14 still miles in front? Have your say on this debate below and let us know what you think about Data Pack 2.
