Persona 5 US release wait with Xbox disappointment

This is the news that most of you have been waiting a long time to hear. Persona 5 has just been confirmed and we can tell you that it will be on the way to the PS3 sometime in 2014. Unfortunately though, those of you with an Xbox 360 or Xbox One are in for disappointment though as the game is going to be exclusive to PlayStation.

If you are a fan of Japanese RPGs, the Persona series is surely up there as one of the best of all time. There has been a long long wait since Persona 4 on the PS2, but finally developers Atlus confirmed what we all wanted to hear just days ago.

Persona 5 is coming during the Winter of 2014 and that it will be exclusively for the PS3. There’s a hint of sadness about this as we wanted to see a PS4 version, but let’s see what happens in the future for now.

The game had been teased last week, but now we have a proper teaser trailer that confirms the release – although not much else. Gameplay details are unknown and we still don’t know when the Persona 5 US or UK release date will be, since it’s for Japan only at the moment.

Give us your reaction to the fact that Persona 5 is on the way. Are you disappointed that this won’t be on any Xbox platforms?
