Peppermint Tea Recall: Teavana Product Info and Details

We have some important news for those of you who like to enjoy a cup of Peppermint Tea, as it has been confirmed that a recall has been issued in the US and Canada, due to a risk of salmonella contamination to those who have recently used the tea.

The product name is called Peppermint Organic Herbal Tea and is produced by Teavana. It is sold in both the US and Canada and customers who have purchased this tea between November. 30, 2010, and February 16, 2011 should stop using it immediately and contact Teavana for a full refund.

If you have been recently ill after drinking the tea, you are advised to visit your doctor and get checked out as soon as possible. The good news, is that no illnesses have been reported yet – but you should still remain cautious obviously.
