Pentax has recently unveiled two new digital cameras, these are the Optio RS1000 and Optio RZ10, both of which are point-and-shoot cameras.
The Pentax Optio RS1000 features a 14 megapixel sensor, 4x optical zoom, 3-inch display and 720p HD video capture. It is pretty unique as it features fifteen different picture modes and customizable skins, it also features face detection, AF tracking and digital shake reduction.
The Pentax Optio RZ10 also features a 14 megapixel sensor, however it offers a 10x optical zoom, a 2.7-inch LCD display and 720p HD video capture. This camera is capable of shooting 1cm macro pictures and features face-detection, optical image stabilization, a dedicated pet mode and burst shooting at 9.1 fps.
Both cameras will begin shipping sometime in October, the RS1000 will set you back $149.95, whereas the RZ1O will be priced at $219.95.
