Pentax K-3 II walkaround review before field test

The new Pentax K-3 II camera is all set to go on sale in May and with this only being announced a few days ago, we have yet to see an in-depth review. However, there are plenty of previews, with some going the extra mile to help better prepare you for its release.

One of the best we have come across is this Pentax K-3 II walkaround review, which helps to prepare you in advance of a full-on field test, which is what people anxiously wait on to see just what this new model of camera has to offer. We already know it mimics a feature from the Olympus OM-D E-M5 II, although is also comparable to the Canon EOS 70D and the Nikon D7200.

Looking over the article in question we can see this is a review to help offer a first impression, and right from the start makes a note that its predecessor was a formidable camera, and so the successor to the K-3 has some large boots to fill.

While not a huge upgrade this mid-term update still brings with it a host of improvements, so it will certainly be interesting to see how they perform in the real world, which we won’t get to see for a little while yet. Having said that, we do have a sample image above thanks to the Ricoh website.

If you would like to know all of the main features, and how they improve on the outgoing model, then this walk around review does that perfectly. However, what it does not do is give you a first impression of how it performs when put through real-world tests, as those are to come at a later date.
