PediaCare Recall 2010: Four Types Being Investigated by FDA

If you have been suffering from a cold, annoying cough, congestion or have allergy symptoms we strongly recommend that you pay attention to this article, this is because multiple PediaCare products have been voluntarily recalled.

The four products in question are PediaCare Multi-Symptom Cold 4oz (UPC # 3 0045-0556-05 9),PediaCare Long Acting Cough 4oz (UPC# 3 0045-0465-04 7), PediaCare Decongestant 4oz (UPC# 3 0045-0554-04 8 ) and PediaCare Allergy and Cold 4oz (UPC# 3 0045-0552-04 4).

These products were recalled by PediaCare on May 28th due to the fact they were produced at the same facility that was responsible for the recent Tylenol recall, this facility is the McNeil’s Fort Washington and has been shut down by the FDA as it didn’t meet their manufacturing practice requirements.

It is thought that PediaCare’s recall is completely precautionary, it is not the result of any complaints or illnesses associated with a production fault, you can find out more on the official PediaCare website.
