Pedestal Stand uses an iPad for bathroom breaks

If you thought that iPad accessory designers were running out of ideas then think again, as there is yet another product called the Pedestal Stand, which uses the iPad for when you need to take bathroom breaks. There are so many of us who take a newspaper or magazine into the toilet, but others do like to take their Apple tablet in to help pass the boredom.

While the thought of people using an iPad while doing their business is not a nice though, it’s silly to think that thousands of us do not do it — guilty as charged. We are at a stage where we cannot put our gadgets down, so what’s wrong with taking an iPad into the bathroom instead of those other popular media products in paper form?

We’ve already seen another similar idea at CES with the iPotty, which has been developed to help teach children to use a potty by making it a fun experience. However, the Pedestal Stand has been developed to satisfy those of you who do not wish to hold their iPad while doing their daily business, if you know what I mean.

The stand has been finished in chrome and can be adjusted up to 32 inches tall. You’ll see from the image above that there is also an optional toilet roll holder, but CTA Digital is looking at another option, which will offer a cup holder instead.

The Pedestal Stand is compatible with the iPad 2 and above and is available to purchase on Amazon for $44.99, although you need to be patience because shipping is expected to take 2-3 weeks.
