PC Video Games: Best Exclusives and Highest Reviewed of 2010

Time after time, PC gamers say that the personal computer is the best platform for games but so far this year it seems as though it has been rather a disappointing time for them.

So far the best game of the year goes to Mass Effect 2, which is the only game to get higher than the 90 mark (metacritic metascore). But being a sequel its hardly a new concept. Bioshock 2 is closely behind with 88, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 with 87 but again, they are sequels.

The best reviewed PC-only title goes to Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II — Chaos Rising which only managed to break the 85 barrier.

Amongst the other games are Assassins Creed II with 86, but users only gave the game a 2.8/10 rating, Just Cause 2 with 84, Dragon Age: Origins — Awakening 82, and Metro 2033 with 81.

As you can see the majority of games are either sequels or expansions. Such as Warhammer 40,000 and Dragon Age: Origins — Awakening.

Are you disappointed with the games that PC owners have had so far this year? What other games that are coming out in the second half of the year do you think will top the charts?
