When it comes to digital cameras those who are not entirely sure about which one to get may be looking for some form of insight to help them make a conceited decision about which one is ideal for their needs. Today we are looking at two from Panasonic with a comparison video of both the Lumix GX7 vs GX1.
The video above by What Digital Camera lasts nearly six minutes and puts both devices side-by-side to give potential consumers some insight into these decent looking cameras. The latest edition of the Panasonic range is the Lumix DMC-GX7, which is the successor to the Lumix GX1 and the aforementioned video highlights some new improvements matching them up against the older model.
With increased capabilities for shooting in low light the GX7 is also said to trim down the GX1’s lightning-fast AF time and the first viewfinder can be seen mounted on a DSLM body.
In a recent post we highlighted a few new cameras which include the Panasonic GX7, the Canon 70D and Galaxy NX comparing all three.
We came to the conclusion that although the prices may be similar the specs are not the same, but those interested in the Panasonic GX7 will be pleased to know that this is the cheapest out of the bunch available for £819, while the Canon 70D will retail at around £1,199 with the lens included, and the Galaxy NX is the most expensive at £1,299.
Check out the video above and let us know your thoughts about whether the Panasonic Lumix GX7 is a worthy upgrade compared to the GX1.
