You might not think it, but people really do still use camcorders. We know that their popularity has slipped since smartphone cameras have gotten much better, although they still have a long way to go to offer the same sort of quality and features, which is why the likes of Panasonic still tries to push its camcorder range.
We have found two that are very impressive in terms of their design, specs and features. Those models are the Panasonic HC-VX870K and the HC-WX970 (or HC-WX970K as some people now it) 4k Ultra HD camcorder, both of which are very similar in their features.
Take the HC-VX870K4K Ultra HD Camcorder for example, Panasonic describe this as the model with Wireless Smartphone Twin Video Capture, which is future-proofed with 4K Ultra HD video recording, as well as 4K photo pause.
This means that you are able to sync a second smartphone to this model to use its video camera wirelessly for a picture-in-picture effect. And also, the ability to record and shoot in Ultra HD.
As for the HC-WX970 from Panasonic, its main selling point and how it differs to the model above is being able to use a second video camera or a smartphone as the HC-VX870K. It does come with all the other features as that model, such as 20x Optical Zoom with 4-Drive Lens System, Creative Control, Full-HD Slow Motion Video, High-Quality Sound Recording and Core Technologies, and so much more.
Looking on the Panasonic website we can see that the Panasonic HC-VX870K price is $100 cheaper than the HC-WX970 and so to help with that buying decision we have included a review video of both of these models for your viewing pleasure below.
