Panasonic CES 2010 Las Vegas: Betting on 3D TV

CES 2010 in Las Vegas is just a couple of days away and TV manufacturers believe that the 3D TV will become big this year. Panasonic have plans to launch a range of new HD 3-D enable TV’s onto the market and will showcase them at the Consumer Electronics Show.

Panasonic are not the only consumer electronics maker to offer 3DTV’s, Sony are also working on a new range to meet with the demand of this new yet popular technology. According to TransWorldNews, this is seen as the first major change for flat screen TVs.

Sony, Panasonic and other TV makers know that profits are not huge so have to think of new technologies to keep consumers happy, they all seem to agree that 3-D is the way forward due to a number of new 3D movies being released in the cinema.

One movie that could help 3D TV sales is Avatar; this movie is the latest creation from James Cameron and pushes CGI boundaries to its limits. Just imagine what this would look like watching it in the comfort of your own home on a Panasonic or Sony 3DTV.
