Palm webOS Update: New SDK RC

Engadget are reporting that a new version of webOS is coming soon for the palm. They are showing an email sent to app developers, which advises them to be ready for testing their apps in time for the future update.

The email is quoted as saying that developers will only have one week to highlight any “show-stopper bugs” in the webOS before it gets its release to carriers. After the release developers will get a further two-three weeks to sort out any bugs at app level before consumers get the update.

Developers are advised that they will get an email alert at the beginning of May announcing the availability of an SDK release candidate, and that a full SDK beta cycle will not be taking place as the changes in the update are limited. Head over to engadget for more on this news.
