Palm webOS 1.4: Release Date and Rumors

We are finally beginning to hear details regarding the release of Palm webOS 1.4, rumors are suggesting that Palm will launch this OS update on February 25th.

A source at Verizon has apparently told PreCentral that the update will be launched Thursday, its hard to say if this source is a reliable, however we do not have to wait too long to find out.

Palm’s webOS 1.4 update will apparently bring video recording functionality to compliant devices, other improvements are said to improve the OS’s stability.

It is thought that the update will be pushed out to batches of 100,000 handsets, which should mean by the weekend most Pre, Pixi, Pre Plus and Pixi Plus owners should have webOS 1.4 by the weekend.
