Pacman Championship Edition DX: Launching on Xbox Live Arcade & PSN

Here we go again, just weeks after Google decided to commemorate Pacman’s 30 year anniversary with a Google Doodle, Namco have announced the release of another Pacman game coming to XBLA and PSN later this year.

Pacman Championship Edition DX is the follow up to 2007’s Pacman Championship Edition, adding new mazes, modes, enhancements, baddies and formula’s.

But what does DX stand for? Simply, it means ‘deluxe,’ which will take the Championship Edition’s six mazes to make more than over 100 varied levels including that of Time Attack Mode, Mission Mode and Ghost Mode.

No release date has been confirmed so far, therefore when we find out a solid release date we will keep you posted.

Good way to mark the 30th anniversary, don’t you think?
