It has been reported that users of Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 are having problems when trying to use the Outlook Connector to gain access to Hotmail or Live Mail accounts.
The Outlook Connector allows you to access these accounts within the Outlook software, making it much more easier to access your accounts in one place, without having to open up separate programs.
However, when trying to use the connector, users are greeted with the ‘Upgrade Now’ or ‘Remind me Later’ messages. Choosing the upgrade option will download a OLC.msi file, but doesnt seem to work once the program has been restarted.
One potential fix for this is to uninstall your current version via control panel and then head to Microsoft’s site to install the latest versions. This method has worked for some, so give it a try.
Let us know if you are still having problems using the connector.
