Oscars 2010: IPhone app for 82nd Academy Awards

E! Entertainment today has today relaunched their popular E! Online application. Just in time for the Academy Awards, iPhone, iPod Touch and Android users can access unparalleled coverage for the 2010 awards season.

First released in May 2009, the app has been the source for everything concerning entertainment, and pop-related news. Over 1.4 million iPhone and Android users have enjoyed the app on a regular basis, with over 54 million page views and 1.3 million video views in January alone.

The E! Online app has had a facelift with more video content added. In addition to this the “E! Talk Box” has been included, which allows users to record their own video commentary and submit them directly to E!. This could then be featured on the air and online.

Another new feature allows you to download some of the hottest shows in full like “The Soup”, and “The Girls Next Door”. You can keep up with your favorite celebrities by creating a list and then receiving all the latest news direct to your phone. The E! Online app is available on iTunes and in the Android Marketplace as a free download. IPhone and iPod Touch users require OS 3.0 or later.
