OS X Yosemite release date pinpointed

iOS 8 is now out in the wild, and tomorrow will be another big day for Apple with the availability of their iPhone and iPhone 6 Plus, but that’s just for September. Next month looks set to be a busy month as well because we have already predicted when the iPad event invites will be sent out, along with the time and date for the keynote event itself.

With this in mind, this means that we have now pinpointed the OS X Yosemite release date, as if we are to go on last year, it will be the same day as the iPad event. That date is October 21st, 2014.

We expect Apple will offer details of some more OS X 10.10 Yosemite features, although they already treated us to a deluge of information during WWDC.

OS X Yosemite release date

This release cannot come soon enough in our eyes because the beta version of Yosemite has been riddled with bugs, one of the most recent problems came in the last update, and that was with Safari 8 crashing time and again, more details of which can be found here.

There is a slim chance that Apple could also release a new MacBook Pro, although there are doubts seeing as though we expect this to come with a Broadwell processor, and we know there has been a delay on their product, which could affect the new 2014 MacBook Pro release.

There is also a slim possibility of an all-new Mac mini making an appearance, and as for the Apple TV 4G, latest rumors suggest this has been pushed back to early 2015.
