We already knew that Apple were working on OS X Yosemite 10.10.2, which will be to primarily resolve the ongoing Wi-Fi issues, but we never had a release date nailed. We still don’t, but we do know its public release is imminent seeing as though another beta version had been made available to developers.
Even though there are other fixes within OS X 10.10.2, it is the Wi-Fi connectivity issues that have seen the most complaints, even I have to keep turning the wireless on and off my iMac in order to get Internet back.
I also have a family member that says his MacBook Pro is often unusable since upgrading to Yosemite, and wished he left well alone. We know new operating systems have teething troubles, but it has now been three months and Apple has yet to fix the Wi-Fi issues.
Apple already attempted to fix the problem, but users were given false hope because these problems still persist, and so it is the hope that 10.10.2 can do what previous updates have failed to do.
This is now the third seed for the next OS X update, and so its release must be happening very soon.
