If like me you enjoy listening to a few tunes on your laptop while you’re working away but the laptop speaker just don’t quite cut it then we have some news you may be interested in. Altec Lansing’s new Orbit USB speakers add a little something extra to the sound from your device.

Although USB speakers are not a new technology, these are very handy devices when it comes to situations like this. As far as laptop speakers go these are the ideal quick fix being reasonably priced and doing a much needed job without being too advanced.

As you can probably figure out both the audio and the power comes through one connection, the USB so there’s no need to splash out on batteries every day. These speakers also double up to become a handy and easily stowed device.
