OpenPeak OpenTablet 7: iPad Competitor Revealed at MWC

Most of the devices which were revealed at the recent Mobile World Congress were smartphones and accessories, however OpenPeak also revealed an upcoming tablet device which is called the OpenTablet 7.

The OpenTablet 7 features a 7 inch multi-touchscreen display which features LED backlighting, it also features WiFi b/g and Bluetooth connectivity.

Other mentionable features include HDMI-out, dual cameras which enable HD video capture, a microSD card slot and a USB port. The tablet is powered by an Intel Atom (Moorestwon) processor and measures 9×5 inches and is just 0.59 inches thick.

If you are looking to develop applications for this tablet you can by using Adobe Flash CS4. Currently details regarding pricing are unknown, however as we find out more we will keep you posted.
