There has been a fair few Galaxy S III picture leaks over the last few weeks, but now with just hours remaining until Samsung’s highly anticipated press event in London, we have one last picture to show you which claims to be the finished product.
If you have been keeping up with all of the previous Galaxy S III speculation, you’ll know that the ongoing mysteries will all be answered on Thursday at Samsung’s official event. Until then though, there’s still time for information to creep out and one new picture that has surfaced looks to be a very legitimate shot at what is expected to be the final design of the device.
Like previous Galaxy S III leaks, we’re unable to see the device in its entirety as Samsung appears to have placed the device in a protective cover in an attempt to conceal any new design features prior to the event. What we do see though is a reappearance of a rather large blue physical home button, although there has been whispers that these home buttons may actually be stickers used to fool fans further.
A second image provided by SamMobile shows the device in question rocking the Android 4.0.4 firmware, which as we told you earlier is just now rolling out to the Galaxy Nexus on Verizon. The exciting debate going on right now though and what we can’t tell from the picture unfortunately, is what type of camera the Galaxy S III will utilize. It is a ongoing exchange between an 8 megapixel and a 12 megapixel shooter and obviously we hope it is the latter. There’s far too many Android phones out there with 8MP shooters at the moment, so let’s hope that Samsung are thinking of upping the stakes considerably with a 12MP sensor which will blow the current competition away.
Are you pumped up for this event or not so much? Take a look at the latest picture and let us know your thoughts on it – real or not guys?
