For those of you who did not know, Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 was released yesterday. There are a number of ways for you to purchase this, either buying from selected stores or downloading direct from Microsoft’s MacMall.
Office 2011 for Mac includes the usual favorites, such as Excel, Messenger, PowerPoint and Word. However, there is something new for the 2011 edition, Outlook. This is certainly nicer than the standard mail service that Apple offers you.
Those of you who use Office Mac 2008 knows that there are a few issues, so is nice to know that Microsoft has listened to users and developed the new version into something much better. On the Office for Mac Blog, they point out that performance was one of the most important features — so nice to see that the 2011 edition will now open the applications much quicker.
