Oblivion 5th Anniversary Edition: Does Trophies / Achievements warrant another play?

Earlier on this week we informed you about the great news that Bethesda had decided to re-release the legendary Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion game as part of it’s 5th Anniversary. Now we’re hearing some exciting news that trophies and achievements may be put into the game too.

Some of you that have already played Oblivion may have been thinking that a $10 coupon for Skyrim isn’t enough to warrant buying the game again, but the addition of trophies changes everything.

It hasn’t been officially confirmed by Bethesda yet, but an image of the box art seen over at TheSixthAxis clearly shows trophies as one of the add-on features of this new version of the game. Just to remind you, the game will be priced at $30 and will include Oblivion as well as the Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles content packs.

We can’t recommend this deal enough to you, as Oblivion really is an amazing game if you have never played it before. The possible addition of trophies to the game is very exciting and potentially adds extra hours and excitement to the game.

For those of you who have played the game before, does trophies change your mind about picking this up or not?
