O2 have announced that they will be releasing five of their BlackBerry smartphones on the Pay-As-You-Go tarrif, with a little something for everyone included in the selection, including the Pearl 3G, Curve 8520, and the Bold 9700.
The BlackBerry Pearl 3G, which has already been made available on T-Mobile PAYG yesterday is up for £249.99, the Curve 8520 for £149.99 and Bold 9700 for £349.99.
One of the main selling points of RIM’s BlackBerry is the use of BBM (BlackBerry Messenger). It is a very popular feature that does not come with any other smartphone (unless you download 3rd party software), and with these deals you will get inclusive use of the BBM service when you top up with £15 or more per month.
Customers can also get 500 texts if they top up between £15 and £29pcm, and unlimited texts if you spend £30+ on monthly top-ups.
O2 has also decided to rejumble the contract deals with selected BlackBerry’s. To find out more information about these deals check out the source below.
Is this enough to make you grab a BlackBerry yourself? BBM is a very popular feature, and I can see O2 having a little surge of users wanting these phones which will be music to the ears of BlackBerry owners RIM who seem to have been going downhill lately.
