NVIDIA Shield tablet a 7.9-inch HTC One

We knew that the NVIDIA Shield tablet was coming thanks to some recent evidence, although at that time we never knew what it would look like, until now. An image has leaked of what is believed to be NVIDIA’s new tablet and from what we can see it reminds us very much of what a 7.9-inch HTC One would look like, the M7 version not M8.

Hit and miss website @evleaks has come across an image of the NVIDIA Shield tablet, or so they say, although it is only a front-on look, but it does look remarkably similar to HTC’s flagship handset from last year.

Looking at the design of the Shield slate the speakers are at the top and bottom of the display and we can also see a front-facing camera right in-between the top speaker.

While we do not know what color options there will be, the one in the image is gunmetal gray, again something that is associated with HTC’s smartphone.

As for specs, the NVIDIA Shield gaming tablet is expected to come with a 7.9-inch display, which we hope will be 1080p, 2GB of RAM, and a quad-core Tegra K1 processor, and Unreal Engine 4 abilities will help make gaming an awesome experience.

Its Release date is expected to be towards the end of 2014, and so we should start to see a few more hints of its features in the next month or so.
