The process to cancel your Now TV free movies and entertainment trial should be pretty easy, especially if logging in online and aiming to not continue the membership. This hasn’t been the case for a few of Product Reviews readers and they are not alone, according to tweets and forum threads detailing a new error being seen in July 2015.
One of our readers said, “Now TV really don’t want you to cancel your membership pass, I got an email telling me I signed up for the Sky Movies Month Pass. The thing is, I didn’t do this, well not to my knowledge and when I signed in to cancel it’s not working. I couldn’t see how to cancel Now TV on Xbox, so went in online and easily found the Cancel Pass button, but this has problems and states an error has occurred in processing”.
Others have been trying to cancel their Now TV membership pass / free trial for the best part of a day and receive this message, “A problem has occurred with this form. The system administrator has been notified and the problem will be addressed immediately”. It’s not clear why these server problems are taking place, as Now TV is not down today and working fine from our tests in early July.
You can see a screenshot sent to us that details the exact error message. This happens after clicking “Cancel Pass” for Now TV online, there might be a similar issue on PS4, Xbox One, Apple TV, Smart TVs, or other platforms.
Is the Sky Now TV cancel free trial button not working for you today? If you have problems canceling a membership pass, then let us know the error message you see along with the platform your streaming on and of course when this issue started. This could be a problem taking place just this weekend, July 4 to 5, or something wider reaching. We haven’t heard from Now TV or Sky at the time of publication.
Update: We received confirmation about this issue within the Now TV online live chat. They said, “Sorry, there is an on going issue with our website, our technical team is looking on it to get it resolved at earliest”.
