Nokia’s Symbian^3 platform: A glimpse into the future – VIDEO

We have an exciting video for fans of Nokia’s Symbian platform now, as the mobile operator has given us a slice of things to come with a video preview of Symbian^3.

As reported from Pocket-Lint, Symbian^3 will be the next version of the famous platform and is expected to be ready, or ‘code complete’ as they call it, by the end of next month.

As you watch the video, you’ll see Symbian^3 borrow features from the N900 such as multiple homepages, extensive widget support, much faster operation thanks to improved 3D graphics acceleration and much more.

Networking will also be upgraded to allow faster usage, while Pocket-Lint states that support for HDMI will become standard with the rollout of Symbian^3 devices.

But when will we see a compatible handset you ask? As early as Q3 this year if reports are to be believed. Check out the video below, then let us know what you think of it.
