Nokia Lumia 928 video unleashes OIS features

If you are a fan of taking high quality videos on smartphones and are also a fan of Nokia devices, you may be very interested indeed in picking up the upcoming Nokia Lumia 928. The smartphone manufacturer has developed a reputation for providing stunning photo and video capabilities with their new Lumia range, and a new video of the Lumia 928 that we have to show you provides a great example of this.

Even better, the Nokia Lumia 928 is a device that is on the way to Verizon Wireless in 2013, providing a great alternative to the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and later on in the year, the inevitable iPhone 6 as well. For the time being though, Nokia are strictly sticking to teases only, so far refusing to reveal when the device will be available on Big Red.

We don’t mind though if they keep up the frequent teases. This latest one gives a specific look at the Optical Image Stabilization capabilities that the device has, hooking up the Nokia Lumia 928 to a remote control helicopter and proceeding to capture live video footage direct from the lens in British Columbia, Canada – as you do.

Top marks for creativity ideas, as the results are pretty stunning to say the least. There are obviously a few shaky moments, but overall – we would say that the video results are truly impressive. The phone is dangled from a moving helicopter let’s not forget here.

We’re also liking the design style for the Lumia 928 as shown in the image above. Take note of the interesting speaker design on the back case and the included 4G LTE logo from Verizon. The smartphone is definitely one to look out for in 2013, but let’s hope that the next tease includes some hardware specs for you to drool over.

Anyone interested in picking one of these up?
