Nokia Lumia 925 image boasts metallic traits

Earlier this week we gave you an official release date for the Nokia Lumia 928, a Windows Phone 8 device that was on the way to Verizon Wireless. It appears that Nokia are on something of a rampage, as they will soon be releasing and announcing the Nokia Lumia 925 as well – a device that looks to have been built using aluminum materials.

For Nokia veterans, this is a pretty big deal as Nokia hasn’t released a phone with metal materials for quite some time. In fact, it could be the Nokia N8 that was the last notable device to utilize metal, so the Lumia 925 could end up being a very desirable device for consumers that like a bit of metal in their phone designs.

An image of the unannounced device in question has surfaced, courtesy of image leak specialists EVLeaks. They too appear to be on a roll as of late with their image reveals and we have the first alleged look at the Lumia 925 along with its suspected aluminum body.

On first glance, it basically looks like a Lumia 928 in a metal shell. Don’t forget though that the Lumia 928 is headed to Verizon, so the Lumia 925 could be a device that will have better availability options on the other major carriers in the US and throughout Europe.

We also have to say that the Lumia 925 looks significantly better without that Verizon branding splashed on the top as well like with the Lumia 928. Nokia will be having a big event over in London later on Tuesday, so expect the Lumia 925 to be unveiled in an official capacity very soon.

The question is: Are you interested in a metallic Lumia from Nokia, ahead of say the Galaxy S4 and the HTC One? We’ll be giving you more details on this handset soon.
