Nokia Lumia 925 first look in UK

The Nokia Lumia 925 is a new edition to the Nokia smartphone range and today we are taking a closer look at this product as we get a visual perspective of the unboxing and first look in the UK. With a 4.5 inch screen featuring 720p HD resolution the Lumia 925 also has an 8.7 Megapixel PureView camera with six Carl Zeiss lenses as well as 1GB RAM.

Additionally, this device also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Dual-core 1.5 GHz processor and runs on Windows Phone 8. The brief video above this article by SuperSaf TV is nearly five minutes long and gives us a quick understanding of what is contained within this smartphone.

While we wait patiently for a full review or more comparison videos we are unsure how this performs against other decent smartphones. With that in mind, we recently highlighted this phone when we discussed the Lumia 925 commercial which targets the 127 Hours movie.

This is their way of promoting some of the unique features available on the Lumia 925, and those of you who remember Danny Boyle’s biographical survival epic will see a similar style advert of a man trying to clean a cupboard when the whole thing falls on him, thus trapping one of his arms.

The video shows how his glove wearing hand could still be used to access the Lumia 925, while other products may not have the touchscreen sensitivity that allows this. The advert resembles the action in 127 Hours, although some would say rip the glove off with your mouth, or lift the cupboard, as it does not look that heavy, but we can see the point this commercial is trying to make.

With the phone’s super sensitive touch you can use the Lumia 925 with gloves on, which will be ideal as the winter months prompt many users to wear gloves as the temperature drops. Returning to the original source, do you like the look of the Nokia Lumia 925? Maybe this would be the ideal phone to use throughout those cold months when gloves are necessary to keep those fingers warm.
