Comparison videos are an ideal way to get a perspective of what’s available on the market assisting the general consumers with making those all-important choices when it comes to making the right decision specific to individual needs. Today we wanted to highlight a strange comparison considering the age of Samsung’s Galaxy S2, although it would be true that we’ve seen similar comparisons with new smartphones and iPhone 5 that seem more acceptable thanks to Apple being the target of many handsets.
The video above by a Swedish YouTuber, Adrian Isén, lasts around five minutes and gives us a benchmark comparison review of the Nokia Lumia 520 vs. Samsung Galaxy S2 and the higher score was given to the older S2 device as far as the benchmark speed comparison is concerned.
Another video below this post gives us a better comparison with the more up-to-date Galaxy S3 Mini versus the Nokia Lumia 520, and this video by the same person lasts around 6 minutes, which looks for any major differences testing the CPU performance and memory as well as storage.
The Lumia 520 gets a total score of 7771 for everything from memory and graphics to CPU performance and storage. While the Galaxy S3 Mini is lower with an overall score of 6671, although the presenter does go on to mention that he doesn’t know if the tests are exactly the same on both devices, either way we get an overall perspective of both the S2 and S3 Mini up against the Nokia Lumia 520, so we would love to know your thoughts on the comparison videos in the comments section below.
