Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet game demo visualized

The Nokia Lumia 2520 unveil was no big surprise because we already had a good idea of what to expect. However, it was still nice to see that Nokia wanted in on the tablet market, and the early signs look rather promising. The specs of this new Windows tablet are not over-the-top, but are more than enough to take the fight to the Surface Pro 2, which could upset Microsoft.

Windows tablets have never been about one thing, but rather a multitude of features, and this video demo (see below) of a game being played on the Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet is proof of that. The graphics do look promising, which we have to thank the Adreno 330 GPU and the 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor for.

The footage shows a particular game being player (we are not sure the name of it) and the Nokia Lumia 2520 graphics look very crisp and fluid, but we have noticed one big issue, and that is the bezel.

It reminds us of some of the first tablet releases, as the bezel is on the large side. Having said that, Apple has only just caught up and made the bezel on its latest full-size tablet much thinner, allowing for a smaller, lighter design.

Do not let that put you off though because the Nokia Lumia 2520 is a very capable tablet, which you can see when compared to the iPad Air. However, we do find it funny how Apple was ridiculed all those years ago for creating a tablet that resembled an over-sized iPhone, when we can clearly see the 2520 is just an over-grown Nokia smartphone.
