No Verizon iPhone 4 – Apple’s Biggest Problem

While some of you may still think that antenna problems on Apple’s iPhone 4 remains the biggest problem, we’ve found an interesting article for you to read which suggests that the lack of a Verizon iPhone 4 is a bigger problem at hand.

The article comes to us courtesy of MSNBC and quotes some new information from Apple analyst Gene Munster of Piper Jaffray, whose team completed a recent survey about the iPhone 4 and it’s current problems.

According to Munster, 258 cell phone users in Minneapolis were surveyed and their answers were based on the idea of being a prospective iPhone 4 buyer. Of those polled, just 20% said they were aware of AntennaGate problems, but three times the amount of users said that the lack of the iPhone 4 being on Verizon were stopping them from buying.

Munster concluded the findings with the following statement: “The antenna issue is removing upside potential for iPhone units, but Verizon is actually the most significant factor limiting demand.”

Quite interesting you have to say. While the antenna issues caused a major headache for Apple, most user’s frustations lie in the fact that the iPhone 4 is still exclusive on AT&T. Take a look at the full report over at MSNBC and let us know your thoughts on this.

Absolutely i agree!! I have Verizon and I know many many people who went with AT&T just for the IPhone years ago. I have stood strong and I'm glad b/c I incredibly hate AT&T. I know here in NYC, the service is terrible!! I'm sure it's a lot better in other areas, but I vow to never go to AT&T. With that said, I love the iPhone. If it were different, I would've gotten one when it first came out. And until it does hit Verizon if it ever will, I will keep my blackberry…

i think that if the only problem is the antenna its still worth it
