No point buying Playstation Move if you have a Wii – Nintendo

It was only a matter of time until Nintendo spoke out about the release of Sony’s Playstation Move motion controller – as they have stated that there isn’t much point paying for this if you already own a Nintendo Wii.

As reported from VG247, Nintendo America’s President Reggie Fils-Aime has been speaking in a recent interview, about the implications of Move and how it affects his company with their own and original Wii controller.

While he went into detail about the whole thing, here is the most significant bit: ”What’s going to motivate them to spend minimally $300 for a new [PS3] system, plus minimally $100 for the Move motion bundle?”

Is this a question of sour grapes, or does he have a point here guys? We will let you have the last say on this.

I may be wrong, but I can see it from his point of view, and all the Wii owners out there – it does seem like a pretty expensive upgrade – for ‘basically’ the same stuff doesnt it?
