No consoles after PS4, Xbox 720? – Hideo Kojima warns

We have an interesting article for you to read now, in which gaming great Hideo Kojima states that home consoles will meet their demise in ‘the near future’. Worrying signs ahead perhaps?

As reported from VG247, Kojima was speaking at a recent press conference for Monster Hunter in Japan when he revealed the news.

Instead of being tied down to home consoles, Kojima believes that gamers should be able to have their experiences on the go, explaining that in the future, we will have games that don’t depend on any platform.

That won't happen until the mobile devices no longer have displays that are limited by the devices physical size. Is that really that close? Even if it is I suspect most people will end up using their mobile devices at home for gaming anyway.


this dickhead doesnt know what he is saying there will always be a rivalry between gaming platforms thats what drives these companies to build better platforms and also make more profit
