Nintendo Wii Classic Controller Pro: Available at Long Last

Back in February 2009 Nintendo announced the Wii Classic Controller Pro, since then a lot of are readers have been awaiting the release, finally we are hearing that the controller is available.

The controller is available in either white or black, either option will set you back $19.99, both controllers are not wireless which is a shame as pretty much all controllers these days are wireless, perhaps a wireless version will launch in the future.

Nintendo are also offering the Controller Pro as part of a limited edition bundle, this bundle includes the controller and Monster Hunter Tri, if you would like to purchase this it will set you back $59.99.

The controller should be compatible with pretty much every WiiWare and Virtual Console title you use, to find out more check out the link below.

What I wanna know most is; HOW GOOD IS THE DPAD? I mean, the original Classics had a great Dpad, imo… 2nd only to the original SNES d-pad. Is the pad on the Pro as good, if not better than its flat predecessor? If not, then it isn't really worth it to me.
