Nintendo DSi XL: European Release date confirmed

We have some good news for those of you looking to pick up one of the new Nintendo DSi XL consoles now, as Nintendo has just confirmed a European release date for the snazzy handheld.

As reported from Eurogamer, the XL will be launching on European soil on 5th March. The new 4.2-inch models will be available in a choice of either red wine or dark brown colors and will come pre-loaded with a few bits of software to get you started.

At the moment, theres no word on an official price for the XL. Eurogamer points out that the original DSi retails for £139, so expect it to be still pretty expensive.

Will you be picking up a DSi XL? Or does the price put you off completely?
