Nintendo 3DS: Video shows how 3D effect works

Following on from our previous article, which informed you about Nintendo’s announcement on the new 3DS handheld, we have an official video to show you now, which explains how the 3D effect works exactly.

As reported from VG247, Nintendo has created a very cool-looking idea here. 3D visuals without the need for ‘3D glasses’. How did they manage it you ask? Well the following video has all the answers.

As you can see from the video, two unnamed titles have been shown off, which give you an idea on how the 3D effect will work. We have no idea on any hardware changes to the DSi yet, so it is too early to jump to any conclusions on it.

It does look great though, and I’m sure most of you will feel the same way. Nintendo say they’ll be giving more info out at E3, but hopefully we learn a bit more about the hardware before then.

Watch the video below, then give us your thoughts on the 3DS.
