We told you recently how much Asda was going to offer the Nintendo 3DS for, now Sainsbury has joined the price battle by making the device available for pre-order.
The offer that Sainsbury’s is giving is quite a good one, if you pre-order you will get the device for £199.99. Not only is that cheaper than Asda, you will also get 1000 Nectar points thrown in as well. According to an article on TechRadar, Sainsbury’s games buyer – Gurdeep Hunjan — said, ‘secure one now and save some cash’.
You can pre-order a 3DS online here, or in one of the company’s 300 larger stores, it is available in black or aqua blue. The games are more expensive though in Sainsbury compared to Asda. Sainsbury are selling them for £34.99, while over at Asda they are priced at £29.91.
The console is not due for release until March 25th, but other retailers should start revealing what they will be selling the 3DS for soon. It can’t be long before the likes of Tesco and Morrison’s join the fray.
