Nintendo 3DS discount: Trade in your old Nintendo DS at Target for $50

Here is some interesting news if you’ve been dying to get your hands on the new Nintendo 3DS. Target is offering up to $50 in store credit when you take advantage of their Trade In Program and trade in your old Nintendo DS. This can then be put towards the new device.

Providing the DS unit you wish to trade is in working order and mint condition you will receive the credit in gift card form for use at Target stores. The news comes from an article at Slashgear which reports the announcement that Target is to expand its Target Mobile center.

The company’s Trade In Program also offers the extra loot to be put towards items like the Verizon iPhone 4 which is due March 25th as well as the Nintendo 3DS which is due March 27th and is up for pre-order at the store now.

The 3DS will be available in 1200 Target stores across the U.S, where 3DS trial stands will be provided along with on hand specialists if you have any questions.
