The launch of Nintendo’s 3DS is almost upon us; with many retailers opening at midnight so eager gaming fans will be able to get their hands on the device. We thought we would round up some prices of the device in the UK.
The cheapest place to buy the 3DS seems to be online with retailers like Amazon, and Asda offering it for £187. Morrison’s are also pricing it £187 at selected stores and expected long queues for it. If you decide to go into Asda you can pick one up for £197 and again expect some long queues.
If you want to buy a game with your 3DS, than Tesco could be your best bet as they are offering you the chance to pick one up for £175. This price is on condition you purchase any 3DS game, or it is £197 when purchased separately. Sainsbury’s are offering a bonus of 1000 nectar points if you preorder online for £199.99.
If you have an old DS console and want rid of it, Argos or Game could be a good choice. Game is advertising it for less than half price when you trade in a DSi XL. No exact price is given and some stores are opening at midnight which you can find here.
Argos have a range of prices depending on what DS you want to trade, if you have an DSi XL you can get a 3DS for £109.99, for a DSi its £149.99, and a DS Lite its £164.99. If you know of anywhere cheaper let us know via comments below.
