Ninja Gaiden 3 Debut Trailer Confirms E3 2011 Reveal

Today the Game Developer Conference 2011 kicked off and we have some great news for fans of the Ninja Gaiden games, Ninja Gaiden 3 will make an appearance at E3 2011, which means that developers must be making good progress.

This news was revealed thanks to the debut Ninja Gaiden 3 trailer being unveiled at the show, if you would like to see the trailer for yourself scroll down to the bottom of this post to watch it, at the end it clearly says “Unmask E3 2011”.

After watching the trailer you will probably agree that it is more of a teaser than anything else, you get to see Ryu covered in blood stabbing someone, just as he takes his mask off the video ends.

JoyStiq point out that this is the first Ninja Gaiden game to have been developed since Tomonobu Itagaki left Team Ninja, therefore it is possible that this game vary from 2008’s Ninja Gaiden 2.

We doubt that we will hear much else about the game between now and the start of E3 2011, hopefully at E3 we will find out some release date information along with confirmation of the platforms it will be hitting, I wonder if the Sony NGP or Nintendo 3DS have been considered.

Do you think a change in Ninja Gaiden’s development will be a good thing?
