Just last month, Need for Speed fans were provided with a brand new DLC pack for the Shift 2: Unleashed game. As we mentioned in a previous article, the new downloadable content enabled gamers to re-live racing’s golden age, with both cars and tracks from the ‘60s and ‘70s.
Now we have more great news for our readers, as the new ‘Speedhunters’ DLC pack has just been detailed. According to a recent article by Tom Ivan over on the computerandvideogames.com website, the ‘Speedhunters’ DLC pack will be arriving next Tuesday, May 17th.
The ‘Speedhunters’ pack features new cars, new tracks and even new game modes. EA says that the upcoming pack — which will cost 800 MS Points on Xbox Live and £7.99 on PSN — is inspired by the expansive network of drivers, journalists and photographers at Speedhunters.com.
Players will be provided with two new branches in the upcoming DLC, including Standing Mile and Drag. Each branch includes nine new events, where gamers will only be able to use manual gear change. Both branches also enable high power customization options.
Cars in the upcoming ‘Speedhunters’ DLC pack include Dodge Challenger R/T, Lexus LFA, Mitsubishi Lancer EVOLUTION IX MR-edition, Mazda RX-7 (FC3S), Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32) and Toyota Supra. New tracks include Nevada Drag Strip, Agueda Aerodrome and Miyatoma Mile.
